@Dutch675, it's not the clearest, but I'm pretty sure we order the 675 non ABS all years, so these parts:

Seems the factory settings are a bit high on cut off time, so I'll be changing mine to these days as a starting point, guess it'll depend if your road, track or both on your bike.

Mine will be track only (road shift for now).

Be a while before I can fit it though :(

Yezzz ordered a Healtech QS via tweewielerserviceveghel.nl.

Really looking forward to be able to keep up with some non-QS superbikes on the straights! ;p

Any of you considered/uses Annitori's QS PRO: http://www.annitoriqs.com instead?
It's a Strain Gauge sensor based system which basic settings can also be adjusted via an app. Costs only $239!
This US based STR rider seems pretty pleased with it:

This QS is supposed to be a spinoff from the well known HM superlite?... owner used to work for HM!

don't bother about Annitori Racing QS: both info@annitori.com and their US based supportno. are 'out of service'...

Healtech QSE option is a sexy cheap solution with app, but also generically considered an inconsistent/ fragile sensor type and (too) many 'trail&error' app settings possible w.o. specific brand timing defaults offered by Healtech nor community. This increases the risk for rough-, mis-shifts and even ruined gearboxes while experimenting with the many free format app settings. This is roughly the summary after reading this forum where Dutch guys have been experimenting with this QSE for almost a year now:
    http://www.motor-forum.nl/forum/lis...Ervaringen-Healtech-Quickshifter-Easy-28.html

Convinced I don't want to learn clutch-less shifting: ...while also too busy concentrating on e.g. my ideal track lines, I will go for a proven solid strain gauge based product splashing the big bucks to be safe(r): £379exVAT for a Translogic TLS-iS3-DCS or HM Superlite(£238in)/Plus(£375inVAT).

  9. Well it's to late for me now. But as a new sensor is only £40 I'll buy another one for spare. Thanks for the info though

So it's sat here, and my arm won't let me fit it, that aside my gas tank is full.

I have a 20L Gerry, but no Syphon, any tips, or cheap Syphon recommendations from the bay, lots at £10 or less.

  12. Three foot of tube and a mint. Don't eat the mint first.

Have a look for a drill driven impeller it's a bits quicker.

  13. BTW in terms of cut times my HM is set to 60ms which feels about. Ive played with longer/shorter delays but 60ms seems to work at most revs/gears so I've stuck with that. I can imagine lower revs need more of a cut so the above looks about right

Gonna give the Healtech QSE a try afterall since both Translogic- and HM in-rod strain gauge sensors won't fit my SES 'roadshift' rairset.
Would need to convert to race shift first, but don't want to cause of other S3 streetbike.

Had one of these fitted to the Daytona last year, works well. Concerned at first about poor reliability reports, but they openly admit first ones had issues, but now claimed to be all fixed. Software updates come through on the phone automatically. There are multiple settings, so it would be possible to set up incorrectly and make an early lunch of the gear box, but if you follow the instructions and stay in sensible parameters there should be no issues. If you were to set it at the lowest figures, obviously should anticipate greater gearbox issues.
Do remember to set sensitivity as it is affected by different rear sets, its in the instructions, basically set the software to record sensitivity, pop bike in 6th gear (not running) and do your normal nudge of the lever 10 times, then set the sensitivity level to ensure the software always logs the gear change. Also remember its possible to adjust a delay time, as well as kill time through different revs.

  19. Bit of a thread revival here but I used my healtech quickshifter for the first time yesterday so thought I'd post up what I thought of it and the settings I used. I have to say it worked great a couple of small niggles that I'm sure can be dialled out. The cut off on downshifts was in ticked but for some reason it was cutting out on these shifts, the only reason I noticed was because I would slightly touch the gear lever as I moved my foot from the peg to go under the lever. I've now adjusted the lever switch sensitivity so hopefully that should stop. Also a couple of times it didn't want to shift from 4th to 5th to 6th but I may not have been putting enough pressure on the lever. Overall very impressed with it
    Settings
    Revs
    2500rpm. 85ms
    4100rpm 85ms
    5800rpm. 80ms
    7500rpm. 80ms
    9200rpm. 75ms
    10900rpm 75ms
    12600rpm 75ms
    14300rpm 75ms

    Sensor threshold 6 ns
    First rpm 2500
    Last rpm 1600
    Cut off delay 10ms

I felt the shift time was slightly to slow so I've adjusted slightly for the next time. That's the beauty of it I guess you can adjust everything to suit you
