What does everyone else ride in addition to their Daytona or Street Triples?

Discussion in 'Other Bikes' started by AndyPF1994, Dec 23, 2017.

  1. My mate was rolling around on the floor when he saw that bird strike. It is a very beautiful machine and I’m lucky to have it. It’s an Absolute pussy cat or a very angry honey badger depending on how you treat it. It was amazing at snetterton.

Thanks man! I took it to a few bike shows of amateur and professional builders and I took 2nd in my class in the national championship round of the "Progressive International Motorcycle Show".

Here is a few more pictures since the ones I've posted.

Lol. Me too! The old school Honda's were super cool. I have a 1972 Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo that's on my list to build. It's a 3 cylinder, 2 stroke and it's water cooled. It's super cool for a vintage bike.

I'm really tempted to splash out on a vintage project, my parents have a reasonable condition 1924 Raleigh popular, Super tatty Norton Jubilee and an even worse Norton possibly Navigator but because I've got 3 other siblings and my mum is weird she won't let me near them.

Wow, that's an awesome collection! Would you mind posting a picture of the 1924 Raleigh? I can see why she won't let you near them!! Lol. Are you wanting to build something or restore it?

I like the idea of a restoration or rather a big boys airfix with a bit of restoration maybe. A single or twin with a nice sound but everything on Ebay is either done or you are entering into a bidding war so id like to find one privately or atva proper auction.

She's not into bikes at all, i have to tell her what they are everytime they come up in conversation, they are inherited from my great uncles but she's like a dog with a bone.

Now that's a tidy looking update mate. Nice work.
By the looks of things the geometry is going to be very different, how does she handle.?

Bike handles very very well but think it’s ready for a bit of TLC with the front and rear ends so they will be going to mct for a refresh. Engine is far from standard.Bespoke stainless pipes. Ignitech race ignition. Quickshifter ( on a 30 year old bike ). Mini flywheel and stator. V force 4 reeds. Brand new pwk 28 mm carbs. Standard 350 power valve is 50 bhp. This is 68bhp

Into that, tastefully done, not gone too wild with it like some do

My other Triumph, 69 T150 american re-import with a 850 big bore kit and various other trick bits that occasionally gets ridden though not for a year or two, started replacing the wiring harness and then got sidetracked with mine and my dads other bikes, hopefully over winter will set aside some time to finally sort it
