Couple of us (myself and @OS2) just booked onto this trackday in the inters group. That’s two 675’s going at least - anyone else fancies it, give us a shout, more than welcome to join us and make it an unofficial 675.cc trackday!

(And yes, we know its a FE day - but it’s a cracking circuit and fits the calendar)

  2. Now I am racing there 26-28 July. Do I stay over?

  3. My first time there and second outing in 3 years on my 675 too :)

  4. At least join us for a drink.

  5. Now if you are stopping over in the paddock I just might do that.

  6. Donington only let you camp out in your vans outside the security gate by the melbourne loop these days? Rather than in the paddock.

I’d imagine if you stayed over after the racing that you’d just be spectating and hanging out at the trackday Bobby?

I’m considering this trackday now thanks to you guys lol.
But I think I may favour the Croft dates with No Limits at the end of July more favourably.

  7. I've heard this before but provided you turn up early enough, they let you in. I've never had any trouble before. If there's an event going on, you sometimes have to wait until if finishes.
I'll already be inside in this case. We'll see what happens.
What Croft dates you looking at?

  8. @Frequent Flyer and I are swanking it up at a nearby pub / B&B.
    Perhaps a RV there?

What time does the racing finish tdb? Not planned an arrival time as yet and we’re staying 10mins away, so could try and pop in to watch the last races, depending on what time we get there in the afternoon.

Ah right, I’ve always arrived at around 9pm or so, except once I did get there at the end of a car day and got into the paddock, but I left the paddock to go back outside as I was of the impression that they would have told me to leave the paddock and go outside the gate.

I’ll text you about the Croft dates to save going abit off topic

  11. Probably around 5ish.

    Is it a quite day?

  13. Yeah it’s a 98db day for £139
I’ve noticed 108db days are now about £189

I won’t get on that with mine

  15. I'll let you know via PM, don't want the masses turning up :)
(All in the name of security of course)

That’s drive by db’s - just roll off slightly on the start/finish or baffle the bike and you’ll be fine. Trouble got pinged and had to baffle up her can, but I didn’t get pinged with my baffle-less Jardine Rt-1 - although you’re also probably a good 15-20secs a lap quicker than my occasional 1:58’s

  17. Many thanks. Let's see what happens nearer the time.

I might if I made it to the finish line, not proud to say I’ve crashed more than few times at donny and I’m still not part of the Cramer club

  19. So, after some miserable emailing with FE about hiring a bike I have decided to bring mine over.
I've not ridden there before and was wondering if it would suit my 400 in the inters group or would it struggle for pace?
