I've messaged Laurie to say that some of us will be meeting around the Oxford area and that if he would like to come a ride out with us then we can head further towards him. Will keep you guys updated
Laurie has said he's happy to come to Oxford to meet us He's asked where we are meeting but I'm conscious about Laurie travelling a great distance so if I meet you guys at J7 then we can meet Laurie a bit further south?
Legs I'm not sure if you can exit the m40 at j7 coming from the north, so you have a couple of options, put hughendon m40 triumph dealership in ya satnav and that will bring you a mile or so cross country from j8, as you cross back over the m40 at j7 just before you get to hughendon m40 is where I normally meet si. Or we could meet at h cafe Benson? Totally up to you. From there we could head over to wantage and meet Laury in the town centre(about 45 mins from h) Then head south to Alton for lunch and back. I think that should work ok and Laury can do as much or little as he liked and would never be a great distance from his place. I'll put the route on myroute app if you like.
Sorry all, very unlikely i'm going to make this now. Ive been having murders with my bike and although they've "sorted it" and i'm due to collect it Friday, i've also been to collect it after they've sorted it on 5 separate occasions in the last month or so now. Last thing i need is being stuck in the arse end of the cotswolds with no way of getting home. I'll keep you guys posted but its not looking good (i plan to do a long run Friday and if all goes well i will be there).
Get on it Friday and rag the living daylights out of it, let it know who's boss and what happens if it breaks down again, hope you can make it buddy. Either way let me know.
Laurie has just messaged saying he's happy to meet us at the H Cafe. I did say I'd be there between 10.30am and 11am then we could make our way to Wantage to meet him but he's happy to meet us at the Cafe
Tyre pressure, engine oil and coolant checked, quick rub over with some shiny stuff and all ready to go for tomorrow Unfortunately si can't make it, his Ducati hasn't made it out of the workshop in time. So can we have a head count of who's still coming so we don't leave without anyone. If you are coming can you please have a tank full of fuel at start.
