oh man!!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad finally found out the problem, stay out of the "made in china" stators (if you are looking on ebay) find someone who´s really good at rebuilding it or if you have the money buy an original. don't forget to check the rest of the wiring harness for more damage!!
I was lucky enough to get one from @bignose from the forum.... it looks good so I will get that on her as soon as I get a chance and see how she runs....
Anyone got one of these, Fuel line connector..... I just need one of the clips... Mine dropped on the floor and I accidentally stepped on it like div....????
Funny you say that as it has crossed my. Mind... As this was the first one a few years ago and then the most recent one... That was a re-wound one
OK... Changed the Stator, New Yuasa battery... Boom starts OK then... Like a pleb I'm working on her a little fitting a Denali Sound Bomb Nd accidentally leave ignition On for about 30/45 mins... And now she won't fire over... Should a new battery struggle so quickly???
I wouldn't have expected so.? New car batteries tend to be supplied "pre charged", however new motorcycle batteries usually require charging. Also don't forget, due to recent legislation, mail order batteries are no longer supplied with their acid. So they are empty dry lead plates that will require the correct level of acid before they can be used.
