My decision has been made....

  1. Yeah but when you are paying £16k for a special limited run bike........

  2. I agree the wheels were.lush, but the other tacky plastics bits weren't on a 22k bike

  3. I hope it is the last one in a way... But hope they resurrect it and modernise the look of it

  4. Will do, can't wait!

  5. Haha, I do Cadwell on my current 675r and apart from the straights, I leave a few litre bikes standing!

  6. Spoke to my dealer.today and they haven't said yet

  7. Cheers

  8. Ouch... I have only seen shots with the led indicators on.... Will be peed off on a 16k bike if they don't include them! I spoke to dealer today and asked if the self cancelling indicators were on it, and asked for its weight and gearing ratio. I also asked if it would be at NEC in November, and if it already has the Bluetooth module for the sat Nav and music..... I won't hold my breath...

It’s gonna be a blast anyways mate!

  11. True, am gonna put a full system on I think

  12. I think you've made the right decision, the BMW will always be there for you if you change your mind.
A bike is more than just the sum of it's parts, it's how it makes you feel when you ride it, and pride of ownership, I think the Daytona 765 will win on both of those things. I'm enjoying my new Thruxton R for the same reasons.
I'm sure the BMW is very competent in every way possible, but is it too competent, too German, no passion, once the novelty of the power and speed has worn off what are you left with?
Is there an option for a triumph full system or are you looking at other options.

  13. Cheers, I am pleased with my choice, rode out on my d675r today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would have thought that a full system that fits the street triple would fit the new 765.... As the scaffold pip for an exhaust on the Moto 2 is only a slip on

I was on a spin today, with a blackbird, zzr1400, MV Augusta F4 1000, ktm superduke R 1290, S1000RR, ZX12R and id not be any rush to change my Daytona 675, kept up with them all and yes in the straights they had more power but on the bends the 675 seemed better so i think you made a good choice with money left over for an older model s1000rr for some fun too.

Womder will it be at NEC would love a look.

  15. Hope it is at NEC, have asked my dealer but they don't know... Won't be buying a s1000rr used, will be selling my 2015 d675r... And just having the 765 for now... Eventually I will but a s1000rr new one
