Hey everyone been re commissioning my 675 Daytona race bike.

Fitted a new Yusa battery an cranks good but no start been on tune ecu no error's.

Cps is reading 197 on the multimeter.

Just got all the airbox removed to check the spark an it's not sparking.

Thinking it's the Cps? anyone got any ideas of anything else I could check out.

    Thanks in advance.

I’ve seen CPS that are reading around 200 and still wont fire, mine that have failed have all been open circuit.

Cheers mate I'm thinking of putting a new regulator/rectifier on as well.

Who's everyone using for parts other than triumph?

Tom, I haven't but most people I've spoken to would advise against it. They tend to fail very quickly. Reg rec available on eBay from a dealer... mine came with the loom and bracket. £100. That's what I bought. It's not just the stator and reg rec that fail. The connectors corrode and cause the stator to go due to the high current. I've just bitten the bullet and bought genuine, new parts, albeit at a discount. Hope you get sorted

  12. I used one on an 08/09 bike without any issues and it solved the lack of charging issue.
I even used the same rubber gromit as I threaded the wires through the old holes.
Double heat shrink as I like the stuff.

Thanks os2 appreciate the reply :)

  14. Pleasure, it's an easy job to swap out.
I tried a paper gasket from Triumph but it seeped a bit even after torquing it, so I used liquid gasket and that sealed it better.
This is the other end, joins are double heat shrink then covered in cloth tape, really good stuff.
