From Triumph website......?? Front Brakes Brembo Stylema 4 piston radial mono-block calipers, Twin 310 mm floating discs, switchable ABS
It’s all rumours until it’s proven, I may see if I can get my hands on one at the local dealer But anyone that does any sort of track work caps the abs module and runs full length race lines to the front calipers anyway
Has the abs not developed more. I always thought I'd do away with abs but have to say I've been highly impressed with it nowadays. It's actually saved me losing the front on track and the soffisticated software now lets you brake quite hard into the corner.
Euro 4 didn’t have to restrict ABS (ie could still be turned off off but Euro 5 it’s a requirement it can’t be turned off. However the d765 is euro 4 I think? It also doesn’t have Cornering ABS because they didn’t put an IMU in it, saying it ‘doesn’t need it’
I think someone on here stated that their Daytona 765 had self cancelling Indictators??? I posed this question yesterday via Triumphs Facebook. I asked a question that Triumph did not address on a post weeks ago.... Why does your Daytona 765 Moto2 that I have on order, not have this fbletoith function, and never will have! For a bike that is costing me 16k, I think it is disgusting that it is not available!!! Especially for the GoPro functionality alone .... Please answer this time, as slowly losing patience with Triumph on a bike that YOU described as the most advanced Daytona yet!!!! Their answer... Hi Cat, thank you for contacting us and sorry we missed your initial reply to our comment. We endeavour to reply to every comment but as you can imagine some slip through the net, we apologies for that. Regarding your initial questions we can confirm the dry weight for the Daytona Moto2 765 is 165kg. The bike does not have self-cancelling indicators or the option for heated grips. The Daytona Moto2 765 has been built to incorporate the same engine updates and performance enhancements that have been adopted by our 2019 Moto2 race engines, to deliver a ride that’s as close as possible to a Moto2 bike for the road as well as for track days, unfortunately this means the TFT connectivity system will not be available for the Daytona MOTO2 765. Triumph GB. ,So I will be interested to know from people who have taken their Daytona's early, if it does have self cancelling indicators.... If so, will go back to Triumph and also ask where the Bluetooth is also!
I went into my local dealer yesterday to see if they had any cancelled orders. They haven’t, mainly because they actually only managed to secure 1 bike in total.... I went in to look at this.....
Same here. Waiting for the demo to be put on the road. Got a price already from the dealer with a few options.
You won’t be disappointed guys, the reason I’m suddenly looking at a 899/959/V2 again is Because I rode my mates new to him 899 home Saturday for him and am just kicking myself for ever selling mine, I’ve ridden a lot of bikes, including currently having upped my skill level on track by a big step on a 675r that just breeds confidence and yet I just felt invincible on this. So much feel and character without the hassle of the older bikes. I’ve got big decisions to make, being sat on two bikes currently. My final advise is to give the panigale chance, a proper test ride as they can feel strange at first, they are very Rev happy for a twin so you need to find that upper mid range and they really really go!
