Interesting mix of roads for day 1.
Tomtom twisty route took us on lots of tarmacced single tracks across the heart of farmland and villages.
A couple of road closures made for some interesting times trying to reroute.
We found ourselves at the Australian WW1 memorial at Fromelles for a break.

A bit overcast today, but hopefully will clear up by the time we get into the twisty forest and moutain roads this afternoon.

Well worth exploring. Not sure how the d675 would manage single track mind! Hope the weather holds. France is beautiful seen from the bike. Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Sure the Daytona would be fine, most of their B roads put our A roads to shame!

That's the France I know and love. Great roads...very little traffic... endlessly awesome scenery. Keep it coming. Sat at work feeling very sorry for myself

  8. You making any similar plans with the Rally?

  9. Some absolutely stunning vistas through the mountains in to Belgium. Also got entertainment sorted for you near the hotel Si!

Another good mix of roads ranging from mountain goat to fast sweepers.
Maybe 1 or 2 tweeks before we use it on another fest haha.
Looking like a nice place where we are stopped for the night in Bouillon.

Having a cool down and wind down before venturing out.

Spoke to the guys earlier. All going well. Not much 675 going on...unless you add up the combined weight in kg of the two GS's

Not so many pics but lots of good roads, and a bit of a long day.
Did Reims, as you do, on the way past.
Stumbled across an American Cemetery not long after yet another road closure causing a diversion. The circuit is closed now....just outside of Reims...great place to stop. You just need to remember the main straight is also a road as it's easy to get creamed while.taking pictures. The champagne region is top drawer
