Yes, good for him but what about all the young prospects out there looking for a ride. Move over I say and let the next generation develop.
Good point, but reading between the lines McCoy is a fair part of the R&D budget with the fast youngster in the background this year, and probably 2nd bike in 2011. Developing a bike properly needs a certain kind of rider - see BMW and Foggy Petronas ( ) choice of Troy Corser. But yeah, there's a lot of new talent that would kill for that seat, and could possibly race it as well as GM, but as D41 says he's good value to watch, and if he's hanging it out the camera's will love him, and because of that, so will the sponsors.
