Costly service delays at Youles Triumph

    Picked the bike up today, it turns out the delay into the second day was not a lack of shims but spark plugs, i think that's worse as its a service item at 12000M and so should have been pre-ordered, said they couldn't do anything about the second days loan bike insurance fee.
    Anyway there was a more serious problem with the bike, see new thread.

  5. I'm booked in with him for 12k service/Daytona cam swap in July. He was/is on the Tiger 800 forum and did a couple of YouTube vids too.

    Took mine into Jack Lilley this morning for its 1year service.

    Free loan bike, Speed Triple R, 65 plate, £2000 excess, or £200 excess if I pay £15.

    ducati was 2 grand excess on a scrambler WITH £15/day charge

    I went with the £2k excess, only rode myself home about 10miles, just waiting for a call to see when it's done!
