Problem removing R&G crash bung

    Hello all,

    Hit a snag removing the R&G crash bungs from my 675R.

    It is with the mounting bolt that is nearest the radiator, that connects the brace bar from which the bung is mounted too.

    I have loosened it, but now as I’m unscrewing it, it is just spinning round and not coming out. I can feel the end of the bolt protruding at the back, and as I am unscrewing it, it is spinning as well, so don’t think it has sheared.

    Weird thing is, it is doing it on both sides!

    Not sure if I am missing something?

    Any ideas on what I can try next?

    Aaaah, just realised the front bolts have a nut on. Doh!

    Haha yeh I’ve been a bit of a plonker there.

    It was removing the crash bungs to fit a race fairing as it wouldn’t stretch round.

    What’s rubbed it in more is that I could have removed the crash bung stem without having to remove the brace if bracket. Now it looks like I’ve got to remove the bloody radiator just so I can access the nut to tighten them back up again!
