I think my disapproval of road rage is decisive for me-it so easily gets out of hand and prison is so unappealing. I used to ride around london including the M25 daily for several years and a mate and I came up with the idea of carrying jelly babies so whenever someone from the shallow end of the gene pool did something especially homicidal you would stick one on their screen with a cheery "well done!".

yes but with (who i assumed was her) bf

anyway, if you were on the m25 roadworks this morning and it seemed like a much larger ball ache than normal, it was due to one wide load lorry (completely un-escorted) going through the roadworks at 8 oclock in the morning taking up 2 and a half lanes.

You’ll also be pleased to know that myself and driver of said vehicle had a good five minutes exchanging horns and wanker signs once I was able to squeeze past.

Seriously, the police deserve all the abuse that comes their way for allowing that to happen. As does the driver and his firm.

Do it at night time or non-rush hour where you won’t inconvenience hundred of thousands of people for one fucking lorry.

Drives me up the wall that. So, so selfish its untrue.

A truck like that normally has to have an approved route Red, an old customer of mine that moves huge boats around the country has told me of countless times where the route is wrong, or the escorting coppers don't turn up on time etc etc, and then he ends up on a main road like the M25 at stupid times getting abuse that isn't his fault.

On the other hand it might just have been a trucking firm that took a punt on sending it on its way without getting an approved route. Something that size should have had a police escort though - so if they weren't behind the load its a dodgy run.

No plod to be seen anywhere mate and it was an English truck so he or his firm knew what they were up to. The amount of abuse he hurled back at me also suggests he didn’t give a shiney shite either.

It's obvious what they're doing on the CCTV around the 25, which implies the bacon couldn't give a shiney shite either.... Now if the truck was blocking the way to the cafe they'd probably be all over it. ;)
