Right, I’m in the market for a 675/R track bike.

Been looking a little while and have the budget of about £5kish.

I know I can get cheaper packages etc but would like a pretty clean example with some spec hence the budget.

Looking for 06-12. Probably more so Gen 2 with the price in mind.

I have many spares and knowledge of the bike already so just makes sense.

Had a 675R catch my eye. Going to view this week, was pretty set. But another has come up and I’m torn and seeking some help with pros/cons.

The one that’s popped up and thrown me off.

To add to this second one. It has a slipper clutch also but was missed off the advert.

So what are the thoughts of those experienced in the 675 track/race area.

Iv always been comfortable in fast group and that was with my pride and joy road bike converted trying to be comfortably within my boundaries.

Iv always been one for having something to look at as well as the form over function aspect.

Which one??? Or if you reaaally insist. Convince me away from either for whatever reason?

I totally get the £3.5k older 675 package etc.

Should add. I got the reg off the first one as it does have V5 ownership. It shows no MOT history so has been some sort of track/race bike for the past 4years it’s safe to assume.

Don’t worry. I’m too quick to act you can guess if you click the links.

Congratulations mate, sounds like you've bagged a top-spec' piece of kit there.
Hope it didn't do "most of the season", and only some of the race meetings (as the advert suggested).

Very nice choice and that is one very nicely specced bike - when do you get it and when is it going on track for the first time?!?

    Cheers fellas

Iv looked into the history of the bike and all seems to square up as is told currently.

HM Racing owner built the bike and is providing details with it so hopefully will all go to plan!

Havnt asked about dyno sheets to be honest! But will see what’s with it.
The seller knows the two owners since it was built for Superstock so has said he can find out whatever I need.

    Fingers crossed

^ That ^ reply just reminded me of Edski675's neighbour asking him to see to her bush..

Anyway, I quite like the "nature encroaching look", -it's what I have on my drive too. :oopsoops:
