This is a terrific place to visit, it's rammed with fantastic British bikes, it's a great day out. I went a few years ago as I had a meeting in one of the conference rooms there but had to get back to work so couldn't do it justice. Wondering if we might have a meet there... M42, J6. £7 to get in and worth every penny, it really is. Discount if there are 10 or more, D/K how much. Some nice roads round Solihull for a quick blast before/after... http://www.nationalmotorcyclemuseum.co. ... m/info.php Thoughts? Ed
I'm sure we can do better than that :? C'mon peeps - anyone else like to go? I can assure you that it's very interesting and you can wander round for hours looking at all the fantastic British engineering. Not a single Jap bike in the place.
too far for me ED, where is solihull anyway I thought it would be Solihull's about 10 - 12 miles south east of Brum. Sort of on the way to Stratford on Avon.
ALl right Kris - dunno, waiting for feedback really. Could pluck a date out the blue - Sat 31 Oct/Sun 1? Will be dark early on Sun 1 Nov though.
The museum is located just off of J6 of the M42, Free parking, £7.00 entry fee. Open 9.30 to 5.30. They have a map in the form of a pdf on there website. I would be up for a meeting on the Sunday 1st November around mid morning as I live two hours ride away.
