First 100 mile commute

    I did my first commute to work today, a 100 mile round trip. All good apart from the frustration of the 5000rpm running in guide. I'm really not sure how long I'll be sticking with that for -- I did well not to give up on the idea the moment I was overtaken by a P reg Fiesta. :(

  3. i sacked that running in shit at 280 miles. never had a problem with oil leaks or anything
     
  4. Blackfly I can sympathise with you there! It seems like every person in the world is taking the only opportunity to overtake so easily while they can. Patience young grasshopper, your time will come!! :D

    On a more positive note I was getting over 60 mpg, so at least it's keeping my fuel costs down.

    I think I ran Mary's bike "in" for about 2 miles on a Southern California freeway (the 57 South, to be precise) before the words "F*ck this! If I stay at this speed I'm a dead man!" were uttered.
