This is what happens when u don't wear the right glasses lol.
Couldn't really see what I was doing so went ahead and connected the battery how hard could it be as I took it off to charge.
Every thing connected and no lights on when turning the key. Checked and NOTICED the battery the wrong way in FXXX.
Ok so I am thinking a fuse has gone but which one ?.
Can't see any thing wrong as close up small things I cannot see.
Any help would be nice. I need new glasses lol.

Reverse connecting the battery wouldn't blow a fuse Tonyk. Fuses blow when excessive load is drawn across them, and are not directionally dependant like a diode would be.

Hopefully the important stuff has reverse polarity protection. Otherwise you might have an issue.

    start with the kill switch
    make sure its right positon
hard to believe reverse conection would blow everything but it is posible its damaged something at the start of the power up cycle worst case the ecu has poped
and it is worth cheacking the fuses i have know a fuse to blow when something conected wrong if you have a test meter take a fuse out at a time and test otherwise with good specs on you may see if the fuse has blown by visual inspection

I'm very surprised it would even fit the wrong way!?

I did the same as a young lad to my Mum's Morris Minor - resulted in a very large bill :(

I believe a Moggy would have had a dynamo, rather than an alternator. So I'm surprised that it did any damage at all.?

That would blow the fuse under the seat right up under the tank. I might have done the same thing before :)

I've only went and done this myself.

Got a new battery with terminals on both sides, never thought as it lined up the same as the old one, flung it in, Fuck….

Checked all the fuses, the main fuse, all were fine. I swapped the batteries to check it wasn’t gone but nothing.

If I turn the key.....nothing, no lights, nothing.

    HELP.
