Took me six hours, but that was purely because a silly mechanic who had it before me went a bit nuts on a few bolts.

Fitted led strip lights without trimming wires and adding pop connectors to allow fairings to be removed. Was a bit of a fiddle.

However his unit being newer had smaller bits so was an easier fit them mine in places.

    Look great!

I looked at these and wondered if you can integrate the switching into the current switch controls or did you have to add an additional switch. Can you switch between day running lights (halo) and dipped beam?

Certainly can, they come with an extra switch which weirdly isn't needed as they plug straight in and the normal high low button on the handlebars switches them anyway, so that extra switch is good for the bin and nothing else

Ah ok. So is the low beam the halo rings only and main beam is both lamps on full?

Can you show in any pics?

    Thanks pal!

Also do you know if the bulbs for the halo ring are replaceable or not as I want to buy the same thing but with the blue eye but am getting put off thinking you have to crack the whole unit open to change the blue bulb or the halo ring bulb

Ok, added some pictures. Low beam and then high beam

It's tricky as they are bright on camera, but low running beam is the halos and side lights, high beam is when the middle kicks it up a notch, halos stay in at all times[IMG][IMG]

The bulbs for the middle are replaceable as you can order an extra set when you buy them from the main ktmoto website. No idea on the colour changing to be fair.

It's as simple as pulling the casing off the back like normal and swapping them over as the casings are already predrilled to take them

Having not ran the D675 since June, I filled it with ethanol free Esso super unleaded and she fired up first time. Service and fit the new helibars and grips next week I think and look at taking her for a proper run out. Perhaps the NC 500 or an approximation of it...

"Perhaps"? -interestingly.: Tony B (who instigated this very thread) used to have his D675 in British Racing Green, and fwiw I thought that looked pretty stunning.
I've always felt Triumph may have given consideration to running the scheme, but elected not to do so in order to avoid detracting from the "modern sporstbike" market they had it aimed at.

See that racing green is dark and am really considering buying a new set off fairing and respraying them to that metallic green

Found my old set of hot grips and being of the old man/cold hands aversion type now, decided to fit them to the 675r, along with a brake guard for trackdays in 2021 IMG_2860.JPG
