    Hello all.
Need some advise, had a racefit slip on deivered today for a 2013, looking to get it fitted and dyno and remap.

A friend is fitting it but has said i might have engine management issues until i get the remap due to the servo..

Whats the best process for removal and do i need to try and book the both together so i don't get any issues

I used a servo buddy on mine or you can disable with tuneecu

Would i need to put that in straight after the swap...? also what happens with the servo, do you need to tuck it away somewhere..

  4. If you fit a servo buddy you can remove the servo completely, the servo buddy connects in its place, if you just disable it with Tuneecu its not active but I think you need to keep the servo connected to prevent a check engine light.
I'm not sure its important if you do it before or after the remap, you might have a CEL but I don't think the exup fault codes affect how the bike runs.

Edit- Thanks to @Bloomyboy we now know that you can disconnect and remove the servo with it just disabled in Tuneecu without generating any fault codes.

  6. I don't have one but I believe thats correct, as long as you don't switch the ignition on with the servo unplugged, leave it switched off until the servo eliminator is connected.
Are they doing the remap using Tuneecu or with a Power Commander?

Its a mate of mine fitting it, ive got to get it booked in for dyno/remap so my concern was the gap inbetween fitting as i will need to bring it home before i get booked in for the dyno/remap

I've got a scorpion can on mine and did the exhaust and servo buddy install together, removing the whole servo motor with it. Never had an EML on with it and scorpion cans don't need a remap (so I was told by their rep) as they're designed to run on the original maps.

Have you got the RaceFit on yet, I’m so tempted to order a growler X or black edition. Just not sure what to do with EXUP valve. I have the Arrow can on at the moment, obviously with baffle out. It sounds lush but I still want more noise ‍♂️ If you have it, is it much louder ?

I've read on other sites that the racefit cans are VERY loud. Not heard one myself but if it's noise your after (and complaints from your neighbours) then I understand that's the can you want .

In terms of what to do with the exup. The valve itself will come off with the original exhaust, then unplug and remove the motor and either turn it off with tune ecu or plug in servo buddy

That’s exactly what I wanted to hear (about the noise) I’ve got a new Bluetooth OBD 2 lx adapter coming tomorrow. I’m gona turn off the EXUP if it works, take for a spin and if it rides fine I’m ordering the bad boy
