My mate has just brought a street 675, after 4 days his reg rec went luckily warranty sorted it out, but now im curious about mine going on 675, im curious of any signs of failure and is it worth buying one for spares?? and does it cause anymore damage if it fails??

Think hes unlucky really only affected early bikes its moved out of the way of the crap now from over the swingarm and inside the bike

  3. Dean at KneeDownRacing had his go and it fried his loom and ECU.

  4. Im afraid to say that my '09 went as well. It is a pretty common thing. Not much you can do when it does. Its hit a few peeps on here.

no probably not if it goes it will be over a short period, warranty or a good blag will get you a new one

  8. This problem wasn't addressed by Triumph until later on in the 2010 model year I believe...

  9. happened on my '09 too. Don't bother replacing it. As far as I know, nobody is able to recommend a 'good quality' one. You just have to replace it when it breaks!
