hi guys, so I made a huge mistake and reaping the consequences. I had my tank unbolted and I accidentally dropped it and in the process it snapped the elbow off the fuel pump and stripped the wires off the 2 connectors. I know I need to get a new fuel pump because of the broken elbow but I'm trying to figure out the connectors. From looking online it seems that the purple/black wire(picture 1) goes to the brown connector. Which leaves the green/black(picture 2) wire going to the black connector. Im stumped which wire goes where into the connectors however and would like some help. Picture 4 is one I saw online and have a pretty good idea where the wires go for brown connector. Picture 3 it looks to me that the for the black connector it has black wire on top with green wire on bottom (from looking at the picture straight on). Does this seem right??
looks as though your bike is one of the earliest ones, with a bypass loom for the fuel pump. (that's why there are 2x brown sockets). See if the images in this thread help.: https://www.675.cc/675/threads/two-fuel-pump-connectors.38290/
Thanks for the reply! I actually don't have the bypass loom for the fuel pump. I just have the black and brown connectors. Pictures 3 &4 are from online that I found to try to get a better idea where the wires are supposed to go.
