It lives!
I've had to put the old 3 pin gear position sensor in as it wouldn't read neutral or gears with the new one but it starts fine now and sounds healthy!
I do now have another spare connector though now!

It exits the loom taped to the side stand switch wire.
I still have fault codes but the exup valve is disconnected as I have a pipewerx exhaust so it will show a fault. Code reader hopefully due today.
Got a bazzaz to go on and a list of bits I need from worldoftriumph but definite progress thanks Wobbly. Also guess who's taking his airbox off, yet again, to screw a bodywork mounting bracket onto the frame?
Whenever you get a chance could you possibly take a photo of your right hand fork area showing which side of the fork the ignition, brake light switch and kill switch wires go?

I've also somehow ended up with two different quickshfters. Does anyone know of there's any difference?

 

Glad you've got it running and you'll be able to whip the airbox off blindfolded soon
Is that the 4 pin gear position connector spare, not sure if you said you had both 3 pin & 4 pin in the harness?
Some pics of the RH side wiring, sorry for the weird angles as its up against the wall, if there's anything more specific you need let me know, also a pic of my standard shift pull type quickshift sensor, maybe one of yours is push and one pull?
