Ouch, get well soon Treesr (and Stu)! I am out of this too unfortunately. Got two faulty map sensors that wont get replaced in time for Saturday morning sadly. Craig and Stu (and anyone "darn sarf") i will catch up with you over the summer hopefully. Hope you all have a blast this weekend and stay safe ffs. I do have a paid room for Saturday night if anyone wants it gratis. PM me for booking name etc...
Sorry for your woes Mate. You'll be a miss again! I'm looking forward to getting a Duke next year to be honest. As I get older, Ducati ownership seems to offer the promise of doing away with all the difficult bits of motorcycling, like riding, replacing that experience with hours stood in the dealership, trying on branded carbon fibre hats while Luigi scratches his head in amazement that the electrical system has developed a fault. On a serious note. I hope you get sorted.
Oh no, best wishes to you @treesr hope it doesnt give you too much hassle. @Stu675 i appreciate you soldiering on to come up to us. Even with your injury, i am sure you will still be right on my tail, unable to get away from you @Red675 what a shame, that sucks. Let us know when sorted and will sort something else out.
Looking more likely that I will struggle to make it too. Ordered 2 new disks on Sunday (with 2 day postage) - said on the site on Monday that it would be delivered on Wednesday. End of Wednesday and nothing - now saying due on Thursday. Courier turned up yesterday at lunch time but the receptionist had just popped out for 5 minutes so didn't answer the buzzer. Under the office buzzer button was a security buzzer button which he ignored so off he went. Chased them and told he will retry today but no idea what time so will have to go to work to pick up the brakes if/when they arrive, then got to rebuild the bikes frontend........... Fingers crossed.
Sadly I won’t be attending now there is a terrible weather warning and I have barely legal supercorsas on the bike so I’m not willing to risk anything. . . I hope you all have a great ride out and all Stay safe. If anyone wants my hotel room confirmation number send me a message and I will happily pass it on to you. Have fun
Hmm. Not looking good. Rotor is catching on the nearside calliper. To stop this from happening I can't fully torque the spindle - this is the gap: [/URL] I checked/compared the spacers with the ones I had on before and all good. The nearside bearing is held in by the circlip which the spacer will be resting on so I can't see what has happened? The new rotors are the same diameter as the old ones and they are not dished so not sure what to do - do I tighten the bolts on the off-side, put the mudguard on and set off or not risk it? Suggestions folks please?
If spacers are right way around, then do you have ABS? Have you put the ABS ring back on and on the correct side? And, the old favourite, is the wheel the right way around (more relevant with abs ring spacing...)
Sorry to hear that Jack. Not sure i would use Supercorsa's in the rain (again) either. I just noticed there was some change to the weather on the app for tomorrow, but am hoping it will blow over, as seems to have shown up on the app quickly, so may disappear just as quick. 675Fest isn't normal unless there is some rain at some point over the weekend anyway.
And.... arrived. Sorry to hear about the supercorsa pros. Ah....how I remember passing my bike test in 2009 then setting off the next day for Karlsruhe in a hailstorm with the supercorsa. I can confirm....they are wank....unless the sun is beaming down.
Leaving now, should be there about 10:30. Sorry I've missed the festivities tonight, but I'll be ready for the morning
