  9. Too far for me :(. I have the energy and stamina levels of a dead guppy these days. Aaaaaand, it's pissing down and it's a well known fact that my bikes dissolve in the rain .

Thanks for the heads-up though. How's this year's fest going?

All going well. Pouring with rain, the leaders bike has broken down and a Daytona in the hedge! Usual fest story! Everyone ok. No harm.done. Apart from Craig's million mile street which is now a single not a triple. Oh...and a Daytona chock full of diesel....and a lost sat nav... Let's see what the afternoon brings

Yep for all the wrong reasons, and my riding skills evading me and deciding to chuck my bike in a hedge was for all your entertainment lol

  16. That was really thoughtful of you to provide a bit of extra entertainment for the day. Anything to do with the Super Cs on cold, wet roads?

Would love to make the excuse the tyres were the cause but unfortunately it was 100% rider error!!

I know precisely what you mean mate.
You're driving along, and your attention is caught "What a lovely looking bush" you think to yourself. :pp
Then, of course, your bike naturally goes where you are looking.

  19. Happens to me all the time too :D

(But I am a Tree Officer, so it's kinda what I get paid for).

@Rogerrabbit have you gone through the painful task of going over the bike and made your list of bits that need replacing yet?

There was some lovely looking hedges on that route lol. Yep we all went over the bike at the roadside and then again when I got back to the hotel and I’m extremely lucky all that needs replacing is my tail unit and front mud guard (which already had a crack in it from a previous mishap involving the disc lock ). I walked away unscathed with just a sore back from me landing on it so as a first crash goes this was the best one to have which sounds silly to say as we never want to crash.
