Any one fitted an aftermarket air filter? I've not noticed any dead spots at the mo, but i'm looking to fit a race can and pwr commander in the future. Just wondered if you guys have done anything similar?

  2. i might be wrong m8 but i think it has a PiperX air filter fitted as standard. if that is the case, depending on the age/ mileage/ type of riding etc.... the most it will need is a clean out . they are a quality filter.

they also make a race-spec version of the same filter which allows an even greater airflow but would probably require the fueling of your bike to be altered via a dyno run and power commander.

    check out their website http://www.thepipercrossshop.co.uk/

    alternatively there are
    K&N filters http://www.knfilters.com/
    or bmc filters http://www.bmcairfilters.com/
