After a couple of years being without a Triumph in my life, I picked up this beauty yesterday. It looks like Caspian Blue is this month's hottest colour and is now my new favourite.

It's not road legal at the moment and needs a bit of minor fettling, but I'm so happy with it. It's funny, I can't remember being this comfortable with any of my previous bikes that have been bought new, except for my first 07 Daytona. Perhaps that's saying something to me?

I'd like to say a huge massive thanks to @Captain Steffydog for making it happen for me and for all of your help.

    Crap photo time:

Thanks @StMarks. I really am incredibly happy with it and the previous owner was super generous :). I already love it more than the Ninja.

Nah, the last owner was a monster and abused the poor bike by chucking it down the road. His only redeeming action was that he thoughtfully used his shoulder to cushion the bike on the tarmac :p

I'll try my best to make up for straying to the Kawasaki dark side and my heart still belongs to Triumph.

Thanks @Red675. I'm super chuffed with it and I'm looking forward to getting out on it more than I ever did, or still do, with the 636. Like you though, I feel sad about the circumstances that have lead to me owning it, but life and priorities change sometimes and there's effall we can do about it.

I finally got out on it!!! Kin hell, it's sooooo light and nimble compared to the 636. I'd forgotten how different the Triumphs are. I was only out for 40 ish miles as I was overly conscious of the new tyres on cold roads (and not having ridden since October). Thank god for the tinted visor so no one saw me laughing and grinning to myself like a total loon in that short time though.
