bike went in today

i dropped her off for her lube service and my noise at 5-8000rpm said i suspect cam chain tensioner guy said "if it is will be upgraded to new one under warrenty" plus brought to thier attention about an indicator fault that occored and mentioned i'd only bought the bike off the 2 weeks ago answer "not a problem sir" then i said i need the bike by sat answer "if all goes well u'll have it back long before then". So i wait to hear from them and hope for the same great sevice

 

I hope your local dealer are true to their word and fix everything you have
mentioned and get you up and running before Sat, Good luck Graham

 

Snap!!!, Dropped the Beast off last night, picked up Sprint ST 1050, for service today, new rubber, new front pads, engine crash protetion fitting, full 6000 service, Oh and slipping clutch........... not bad for a 6 month old bike :?

Will let you know what the £££ damage is later - £500 and climbing at last count

 

Not much spending money left for Croatia then

 

What tyres did you go for in the end Jap?

Is that a slipper clutch you are having fitted????

 

Hi Stu, I went for the bridgstones 016's, felt great on way home, break pads were down to 2 mill Nearly threw myself over the bars as the new pads grip like :twisted: :twisted:

Fitted the Crash Bobin Brakets whilst tey were at it so stuck the R&G Ovals on

I love Bridgestones but I won some Michelins in a raffle and although the ride isn't quite up to a the Bridgestones there not far behind and last 3 times as long.

 

got a phone call today all serviced and seat fitted also race cam chain tensioner fitted under warrenty and indicators fixed total bill £211 my seat was 73.99+vat on it's own so not bad at all well chuffed

 

Nice one Graham my bill was £578......... £300 for the tyres, £220 for service plus front brake pads & Crash bobbin brackets fitted.

 

i am likeing ur bobbins look very slick just hope u never need to put them to the test

 

hey jap, are those brackets from t3 racing but with R&G bobbins fitted ?

whatever it is they're looking good m8.

 

HI Iron, no they are GB Racing brackets with GSXR Bobins, just did not like the round ones, The left side is perfect the right sticks out about 10 mill too much but not had chance to sort it yet, i may leave it though. The bobins that came with it are two leigths were as the R&G's are the same. Still I'm chuffed with the finished job.

 

picked up the bike this after noon and all is good they done a top job i asked about the 2year/12000 miles sevice they said do not do a 12000 till ur near the milage it's just a waste of money otherwise i was shocked that they said that but what good coustomer service. Top job Carl Rosner
