Does anyone run one on their bike? If so, worthwhile? I want to be sure before I shell out £330 for the MF.

I've just bougth a accossato m/c. Same as brembo apparently just better looking and half the price. Might be worth a thought. Will be trying it on the track Sunday so will report the differences to stock.

I am running brembo m/c 19/20 on mine and is worth every penny, some much feel and feedback and with the m4's works great. See eBay can pick them up for round £150

  4. I rode a mates race blade with brembos last week. Rode my 675 today and the brakes are much better by comparison! They just have brembo pads in.

Obviously stopping is important but I would try and have a ride on a brembo shod bike to see what you think of the feel first.

  8. My last bike was a KTM RC8R and the Brembo monobloc brakes were feckin awesome. Having done 2 days at Pembrey a few weeks ago I was very impressed with the standard brakes on my 07 D675. I've no intention of any upgrades to them.

Hmmm, mixed opinions? I think I'll try different pads first, I'm due some in the next 1000 miles or so. Unless a bargain comes along.

    Not wrong tony,

Pads and race line set up will make a world of difference and standard calipers are more than up to the job for everyday riding and fast road, that said once you try upgraded calipers/master cylinders you feel the difference, can brake deeper and I keep saying it the feel and feedback is like nothing else.

Kinda related....I changed out the stock m/c on my D650 to an '07 R1 m/c...the difference was HUGE...as in, like the bike actually slows down...the feel is a touch 'wooden' but SOO much better overall.

We spend too much time on here worrying about how to make our bikes faster....making then slow down quicker rarely gets a mention....

Chris' tip about the Accossato is spot on....I've heard nothing but good stuff about them....also check out Beringer...pricey, but superlative in the braking dept.

Yeah I phoned a Beringer supplier today, £496.68 for a MC and lever. Quite pricey!!

But yeah D, I want to play with braking and suspension before making it go faster.
