Anyone read todays MCN? Buell has been shut down by Harly Davidson and Harley are in big trouble themselves, also they have put MV Agusta up for sale, not into either Harley's or Buell's but dont like to see any bike company go down the tube,
Buell have always been something of a 'start-up' company IMO, a lot of innovative ideas, yet always poorly packaged - I won't miss them TBH.
Tis a shame as Buell’s are good looking/handling bikes as I rode one on a track day some years ago. Lets hope that Hardly Dangerous goes down the pan too
Im a project manager for a shofitting company, we are so busy we cannot cope so i have had to help out coming in early and loading lorries etc on top of doing my own work, bah humbug....1 week to go and it will calm down. I will get a chance to put my pride and joy back together again then, it's been sitting in the garage looking sorry for itself for over 3 weeks now. I think this is the longest i have gone without getting on the bike :whaa:
Ah, yes - I've done work for those guys - they do work some horrendous hours getting a project completed.
I work in the same industry as FK and know what he means, its not like sitting in a office its hard physical graft, you work away from home all the time and a lot of the time work every other weekend or more, worked for a company as a site manager some years ago and you had to be on site 89 hours a week, busy or not (they had a clocking in clock on the sites) but we were mostly busy, yep 89hours, 13 hours monday to friday and 12 hours saturday and 12 sunday, nasty bosses but i bought my three bed semi from it so not all bad,
