  1. Love it! Looks great from that angle! I might have to pull the covers off ours tomorrow and look at them!

It's weird I've seen 2015 RX's with both black and gold calipers

Mine came with Gold, I asked them to change them, which they did. . . Personal choice, they both look fine really.

  5. Welcome to the forum. They are lovely looking bikes and if I was getting a rode bike it would be a tough choice between one of these and a speed triple

I had a 2010 690 SMC, loved it! It was a 'Do it all' bike. Track days (Everything from big tracks like Donnington to little Go Cart tracks like Rowrah in Cumbria). I was having second thoughts on letting it go up to when the lad who bought it shut the van doors.....I'll have another Supermoto soon. Maybe another converted EXC (450 or 500). I briefly had a 2012 500 EXC in Supermoto trim and stupidly sold that too.

Here's my 2010 SMC. Loads of custom bits.

Custom graphics are all my own work too

It's funny, considering the 690 SMC was a lazy big single cylinder it felt better and better the more it was pushed. It seemed happiest further up it's rev range. It was a brilliant bike everywhere. Donington was probably a bit too BIG for it as it lost out on the back and home straight but through all the rest it was a winner. Swinging through the Craner Curves and through the Old Hairpin it was wicked! Mallory was my fave on this bike.

Stupidly I only rode the 500 a few times on road and once on track. It was an angry little thing! Revved and revved and revved! Sounded possessed!
