Carbin fibre lacquer

    The clear lacquer on my carbon heel guards is getting badly scratched, any ideas on how i can make it look a bit better condition, more like new?
    Cheers for any suggestions.

    Get a can of lacquer from an auto-parts store, that should clean them up quite nicely...rough up the old lacquer with a Brillo pad 1st.

    It's not gonna last too long though, not with your boots bangin' against them all the time.

    Lacquer them as suggested. then cover with automotive anti chip tape [clear self adhesive plastic tape]. Cut to shape using a craft knife. should prolong damage and tape can be removed and replaaced with fresh tape when marked.
