Ask you might have guessed from the title I'm running lsl 2 slide rearsets. They are currently in road shift but I'm thinking of moving they to race shift to give myself an easier ride up shifting as I don't use the clutch and don't have a quick shifter. Has anyone done the conversion or know of anyone who has or have any idea where to source the parts?
At the moment the rod goes through the frame, which gives the road shift. Mounting the lever off the stand or other bolts in that area would allow rid to travel vertically over the sprocket (cover removed) to run a reverse shift. (Is that what you meant by pivot at the bottom).
What I have currently. What I'm aiming for. Ideally with a stand though Sorry for the quality, I roller balled the pics from google. I've emailed lsl directly but no luck yet
Mine is the same as bry's just in road shift our gear levers fit to the lower engine mounting bolt so you can still use the side stand as normal. I've not seen a setup like the one in your pick before. Mine is an SES lever cost around £50
Ask T3, they sell TRW rearsets and sell spares. You can just get the gear change assembly on its own.
Lsl do do the parts but they aren't replying to emails at the moment. So I wondered if I could sort it another way or if anyone else has managed to sort it.
Think it was race shift mate that's all I put in I found some one in the end took a while as I already had rearsets
