Colorado to Dead Horse and Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. And not a 675 in sight.

I know this has nothing to do with 675, but I thought I'd share a few pics of the ride described above.
    Was it worth it? Yes.
    Did I enjoy it? Yes.
Would I do it again. Probably not!
It's a beautiful ride, but the huge distances involved getting to even Fairbanks involved long days and variable weather.
On saying that, the wildlife and the sheer scale of the land are awesome.
    So far [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. Outstanding photos and stunning scenery, looks like the trip of a lifetime, makes all my short local journeys look rather pathetic:(

Looks like you had the right bikes for the job, what was the total mileage?

Total milage to date is about 9k. But I'm still on the road, potentially for another 5 weeks.
So I could be looking at around 12-15k on completion.
Just to give you an idea of distances; my bike was serviced in Denver on the 13th of June. By the time i reached Fairbanks in Alaska on the 10th of Jully I'd covered 6k miles and the bike needed another service.

    Fantastic effort

  5. That looks amazing! Can't think why you wouldn't prefer doing those millions of miles on a Daytona, though :p

You rode to the Arctic Circle....? That is beyond epic.

    Haha.
Can't imagine what the condition of my spine would be like doing that on a Daytona.

    I've done it twice now.
    Norway and Alaska.
Nordkap in Norway is actually further north but doesn't quite involve so many miles.
