For a while now we've been running 675.cc version 2 new and improved web interface; however since it's overhaul content outside of the forum has been non-existent. Although I know enough about keeping a web site alive and kicking I'm lacking the knowledge and time in creating the 'wiki' side of the site. So to try and get the ball rolling I'm advertising for some help! In return, all credit to the author will be noted on any article and I will also send enough funds for a drink (or three) via paypal as a gesture of thanks! So phase one of the content creating! - Buyers Guide - Daytona - Street Triple Rough Ideas - Pitfalls - e.g. regulator and rectifier issues/resolution, general bike maintenance to focus when buying, particular models that hold value better then other models etc... I'm not looking for a essay, however something informative with pictures etc.. Can you help? If you feel you can help please message here or DM me. We will offer drink tokens in the form of paypal payments to show gratitude - the more you can help, the more drink tokens we'll send! For example, if you're able to write partial content we will send £5 (enough for one pint), if you're able to create the full article we will send £15 (enough for three pints, and in my case enough to get drunk!)
Cheers for the reply, there might be bits later where no knowledge required (such as the version models etc) ... keep an eye on this thread ;-)
Any time frame on needing the bits done? Be happy to help out as and when I can. Not particularly knowledgeable either though haha
No time frame at all, I'm hoping to complete each section in the to-do list order to make it simple so any help welcomed. I'll try and focus on certain bits and will keep this thread updated so if there's anything in here let me know if you're around
Hey Craig, I was thinking a member's spec sheet would be useful, like this; http://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/triu/triumph_daytona_675 09.htm But with the option to add lines for modifications and coupled with a suspension setup sheet, would benefit me as it keeps all the info in one place, also means you can look through other members bikes and get ideas for mods. Could possibly even add a search function by item to see what is the most popular tyre or master cylinder for example. Could either extend people's profiles or do it as a separate page? Happy to have a stab at it in excel if that helps and you think it's a decent idea.
there must be threads on here about "buying advice". could the info from those be pulled together as a starting point....
Thanks folks, I will be putting a few things together. If anyone has any suggestions or input I'm all ears. Will be making a start this week on the data side of the site.
