Edit thread titles

Any reason why the OP cannot edit the thread title when errors are made?
(Like my Paypay / PayPal thread)

 

there is an option to do it as i've done it myself but i think you have to be quick off the mark otherwise the option disappears

(seems to be in some sections of the forum and not others too)

 

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but I made a mistake on my for sale advert. Is it possible to change it? Or does a moderator have to do it?
I did try to edit it myself, but can't see how to do it.
