Changing the exhaust on the Vespa and the main bolt has sheared. I'm gonna have to cut the exhaust of now and drill it :( Anyone fancy coming round with a hacksaw :)

Not you as well Stu, Keithspurs has just had a session stripping threads from his rear sprocket. :(

It was a full moon last night, maybe the gremlins were out and about

Sorted it now but it was a pig. Ended up drifting it through an inch at at time and cutting the bolt but that was only after cutting the exhaust off. I don't want to see another hacksaw for a while :)

The scoot is tits up on sticks in shed.

I've got the sheared bolt out now so I'm venturing into the garage to put the new exhaust on. Wish me luck :)

The dealers gave me the wrong bolt so I picked one up today. I'm now happy to anounce that the Vespa is now back on the road. Only 4 days to change an exhaust :(

Clucking bell. I changed the chain adjusters for stainless on mine and Jean's bikes. The bolts reacted with the alloy swingarm and welded themselves in. I managed to get mine out to grease but one of Jean's sheared of. Hopefully the guy who's fitting the heli bars can get it out.
