Soooooooo, after unburdening myself of my sin against Ganky (and "coming out" about my latent lesbian tendencies) I feel it appropriate that I get this season's off my chest.

Christmas was approaching, our much loved Edski had this years Secret Santa well underway and once more I felt something of an itch....

My victim last year required no choosing (sorry Nick, but I'm sure you'll agree that in many ways you chose yourself mate). However to select him again may appear to be "favoritism", also he had been less active on the forum last year.
( :? Besides, he'd been quite graphic about how dearly he wished to "reward" me for my efforts)

So, I took time to consider all of you as potential . :p Like GMF they should be a physically unthreatening,

Perfect'.: A fitness freak "hard as nails" professional debt collector from Manchester with professional quality person locating facilities at his disposal.
No concerns there then ;)

IMHO Ozzer's year had been (even more so than Gank’s previously) exceptionally gruelling, yet he had taken it in all his stride with characteristic integrity. He even rode from Manchester to the Fest & back in weather that could only be described as monsoon.

Despite all that, I still selected him to be my Sabotage Santa victim. :p

I carefully chose a “suitable” gift, had it bespoke custom made, and posted it.

I sat back & waited for a Gank-esque rant to appear.. I thought perhaps a photo of it in use may appear in with Ozzer’s other kit. https://www.675.cc/675/viewtopic.php?p=169543#p169543

:( Nothing.

I have since been assured that this is just further proof of his restraint & humility. (And not that he is busily trying to track me down )

Perhaps, now that I have confessed, he may post a picture so that you can all share a little of his joy.?

I believe you may indeed know GMF. But ask yourself; "...is he really worth any effort.?" :p

Brilliant!!! I can't tell you how happy I was getting that surprise mystery gift. It come on a bad day and really cheered me up. That was soon followed by the guilt of not knowing who it was from and worrying if I had missed something.

Last year was horrible but we all have our problems and losses. What last year did reach me was you live for now and you don't put off what makes you happy.

So, thanks to my sis I now have a dirt bike to play with and thanks to 675.cc and my mystery Santa, a new t shirt to play with it in.

Can't say thanks enough!!!

And a big kiss to my big Sis who we all miss every day!

T-Shirt fits perfect by the way.......which had me even more confused.

And yes, that Fest run last year was shocking. Monsoon rain there and back for 500 miles. My only entertainment being the ability to move my toes in my wet socks and feel the splash of cold water. I couldn't take my gloves off the whole way as I wouldn't have got them back on. Had a good evening though and can't wait for the next one!

Not sure I deserved a special mention so I dedicate it to all the top members out there who offer help, advice and general banter all year round. And another thanks to Craig for all the hard work he puts in.

I would say I have to get back to work now but I'm off to Manchester Xtreme in Stockport to pick up some water pump parts. The suns out too (sort of) so it could be the first decent ride out of the year! Role on a sunny 2013!

Luckily I'm a bit bigger than the dog so it fits fine! :)

"My Dirt Bike is Prettier than yours!"

Not at the moment it's not. Had to strip the crank casing off to repair the water pump! Leaking coolant and now (because of my mistake) it's broken the gear on the impeller shaft. Off road bikes are high maintenance! :(

Enjoying tinkering and learning stuff and hopefully I should have it right again for weekend.

Teething problems... Because of the way the system changes the user when you post to keep it anonymous, it means any attachment which is uploaded in this section wont work.

The system works by the following

User -> Post -> User Change to '675.cc'

Any uploaded attachments are assigned to the "User", so when it switches to the 675.cc it has no attachments assigned to it's account thus leaving the file name in the post.

To get a image the only way would be to use our uploader tool on a desktop pc or other image hosting service (i.e. imageshack) and post the url to the image via the [ IMG ] [ / IMG ] bbcode.

Hope this helps, apologies for missing this. I've now disabled post attachments for this section so hopefully people wont fall into the same trap and use the work-around option. :)
