    hi all!

fitted a new nut and washer to my front sprocket shaft this evening
i was advised to torue the nut up to 62lbs
i set the torque wrench but even with me giving everything and my missues standing on the rear brake i could not reach 62lbs!
so i have left it as it is with the washer bent over the nut on 1 edge of the nut
can i assume that the nut will stay tight and that the wrench torque settings are naffed on the wrench?
will it be ok to ride as i have tighten it up as much as i possibly can or should i get it checked at a dealer?

It will be fine mucka. As long as its tight it will be ok.

  3. I had to get someone to sit on the bike and push the rear brake to get it done

Piece of 2x2 softwood through the spokes of the wheel did it for me, just let lock up against the swingarm and then tighten the nut to the req'd torque.
