Whats everyone getting to a full tank? Im getting about about 125miles is this the norm? Bike is fully standard on the engine stuff Considering a K&N as i always put them in my cars and see the MPG improve
Yes seen review where the were dynoed and the power went down and also the oil in them played havoc with some sensor or other. Put me off them. The OEM came out best, surprisingly
andykb, my late 06 model with standard pipes etc usually lights up the fuel warning light at 125miles and I have ridden on until my trip clock shows 150miles before pulling into refuel. The best I have achieved is 161 before refuelling. This has been achieved by keeping between 0 - 110mph during the trip and on a mix of road types.
I usually get 120-125 to the light coming on while commuting or riding mad in the countryside. On a motorway run I can get nearly 140 before the light.
Around 120 - 125. Don't often do silly speed but I love the acceleration, and TBH as it's about my only vice I really can't get too wound up about the fuel spend.
Yup ditto that. Just wind it back a touch when the light comes on and start hunting for bike food. Feed it then crack it open again Steve
