Hi guys. I wanna get a HM dash but I'm guessing I'll loose the mileage. Or is the mileage recorded else where. Or is it possible to add the mileage. It's not necessarily a deal breaker but after all mine is a road bike. Cheers, josh
Hi, yes you can put mileage in. I haven't onmine but I am sure when you set it up via the USB there's an option for mileage. What sort of price you been quoted?
As Luke said. Go on HM website, under downloads there are Data logging firmware, Odo adjustment firmware on which can enter bikes mileage and also adjust the speedo for your gearing
O cool, thanks for the info. As for price I think I have seen them about the £666 price but I won't be ordering for a month or two. I shoulda got it sooner. But hey ho. I'll def. be getting one soon.
I put a link on here somewhere I found them for £629 posted. Direct from hm it's £666 x VAT if you no anyone that races have heard they get a good deal??
That's a great price if so, I'd pay that for New over second hand prices anyway. Is that definitely not plus VAT again? Like the lads say the hm mileage is adjustable & resetable for new owners or for each season/fresh engine etc but whatever mileage you do whilst running hm will be missing off you stock clock when you return it to standard to sell
I called him and it's Defo £629 delivered, I ended up paying £600 from another source a mate of a mate was ordering 3 so I asked to add another and we got them for £600 direct from hm because of buying 4.
I've witnessed the same & had to blink, I have £500 for a brand new 1 second hand. My little tip is to notch out the foam on the case they come in to make your stock clock fit in, Then put this in the spares you take everywhere as you'll here lots of stories about people missing out on 3days in Europe etc due to issues eventually diagnosed as the hm dash playing up. For the record mines never skipped a beat during my short 12 months I've ran with it but I religiously keep it dry.
