Qualified 10th this morning.

It didn't but wets fitted and out I went. Didn't get a great start but was making my way up through the field when I started getting problems with my visor misting, it just got to the point where I wasn't happy to continue. So I decided to pull in on lap 11.
So different helmet, visor and foggy mask for the next one, hopefully that'll sort it.
The weather forecast is poor so races have been shortened to 20 laps. Now the rain is off, it's not cold so maybe it'll dry up for me. Maybe it'll rain again, who knows???

 

It stayed wet but another helmet, visor and Foggy mask solved my problem.
It wasn't a bad start but for some reason I just couldn't get as comfortable as I was in race 1. I kept plugging away and for a while I was inside the top ten however I was struggling to maintain any kind of pace and dropped back to 12th at the finish. I was however still 3rd in class so I have another wee trophy for the cabinet

That was it, we got the van packed up and I was on my way by about 3pm.
I must pass on my thanks to my mate Keith Thompson who looked after the bike all weekend. All I had to do was ride it. Cheers fella.
Also thanks to Stef & Claire at Tyres4Bikes for their continual support and lastly the staff at Knockhill. They really do go the extra mile to ensure the meeting went as great as it did despite the weathers best efforts to spoil it.

My only slight gripe would be with the amount of people who did not make the effort to enter. A little embarrassing form Hottrax' perspective IMO.
