Well the mrs fitted some new alloys to her car last night I was standing around fannying about with my bike and offered to help her but she wouldn't have it and said she could do it all and that she had fitted alloys before so knew what she was doing. Ok Fine I said have at it. This morning I get a text message saying her back wheels had come loose almost to the point of coming off and what should she do. So many smart arsed comments went through my mind "Let me do it for you next time" "Told you to do those nuts up tighter" were to name a few. Instead I smartly remembered that she has the painters in so it wouldn't be wise if I valued my nuts to make any smart arse comments or even worse get slapped with a sex ban so I opted for the sympathy option and said I would re-fit them all for her tonight when i get home. I was thankful she is safe and came away unscathed but have to admit to having a little chuckle and putting this one in the throw it back in your face box the next time she argues with me about giving advice on something.
Frankly I'm impressed that she happy to change the wheels herself, when you were available to do the MANual labour.
