Just thought folk might be interested in the Royal Enfield India south tour. Just rocked up in mummar after 3 days. A proper hoot! We're away with British Bike Tours who a friend of mine now guides for. (Alan....helped me with the fest in 2019). It's been a blast so far.

It's been great so far. The bike is fast for these roads. Lol. Staying in nice hotels which makes it all very easy of course. It's a mad, chaotic country but brilliant fun.

  8. Looks like a great adventure, with a bit of luxury thrown in:D.
I imagine the Royal Enfield will be prefect for India, while binge watching youtube bike videos over the winter have seen a few Daytona 675 bike reviews and Indian roads on a sports bike look scary, apparently no rules, everybody going so much slower relatively, people or vehicles just stopped in the road for no reason, large patches of sand out of nowhere, but probably still fewer potholes than the UK:mad:

    Have a great trip.

Done and back to Kochi. In one piece. What the photos don't show is the chaos of the traffic and trying not to get killed by everything . It's been a real hoot though. India is probably not for everyone however it's been fun, even with Jen on the pillion seat. . If anyone is interested in the practicalities or wants any info...let me know.
