Hi lads, I've just bought some lightech chain adjusters for my 2017 675R. Long story story short… they don't fit properly and for €250.00 they should …!! They have a securing block that grips the rear of the swing arm. As we all know the 675 swing arm is an odd shape compared to other models. It's a curved profile with a tapered edge. Lightech have attempted to manufacture a block to mate with this odd shaped swing arm and made a balls of it. I've emailed and spoken to them with regards to this fitment issue. They said they were not aware of any fitment issues with that model. Has anyone had similar issues with this…??
I'm sure it was @Ff6022 that had similar issues with Lightech chain adjusters. No issues with Gilles ones.
Loads of issues listed on the forum about lightech adjusters, normally it's that they foul/gouge the sprocket carrier.
You sure that block isn't meant to go on the sprocket side. Edit just looked at other later bikes, that is crap machining
I tried swapping the blocks around. It was one of the first things I did. Not even close. It's very clear to me that either they have sent me the adjusters for a different model or they've simply dropped the ball on this one. I have also bought some Lightech rear sets but I've put that order on hold pending the outcome of this issue. I'll keep y'all posted…!!
