of cause they would becasue the pip is different to come out the side from the headers you smeg head!
Yes but hazza you're still not listening you (LOL) he said he has his exup removed as well and I wanted to be sure he was still running an underseat even after having it done. That's what I was checking to make sure of!
dude what ever your splitting hairs over shit all now, you dont usually need a reason to call me names so give up haha!!
A faster flowing exhaust is good for top end power, bad for torque, as back pressure will ensure a slower release of potential energy from combustion. Also, theoretically, you cannot recover any benefit that the EXUP provides with ECU mapping, as the EXUP manipulates air flow whilst the ECU can only manipulate fuel. If you reduce airflow by removing hardware, all you can do is reduce fuel to maintain a correct AF ratio, the overall result, even when corrected, is a reduction in power in the affected rev range. Race cans will generally give a small increase in top end power at the sacrifice of low / mid range power. Good for track bikes where riders typically use the top 2/3 of the RPM range. Not so good for street bikes where riders typically use the lower 2/3 of the RPM range. My personal opinion (as a street rider) is why move power from the band I use every time I ride to a band I will only use once in a blue moon?
Haha, fair comment. Pretty much the same reason I run the Arrow, but my exup is my friend and is staying put.
+1 dude I have no intention of removing the Exup for the time being unless by some miracle I get a nice high paid job offer before January the Daytona will very much be a road bike next year until I have enough money to buy a nice big litre bike then the daytona will be a track bitch
