Hmmmmm 166mph in a 60 zone
the last few lines say it all really ,
" Last year more than 20 motorists were caught travelling at more than 100mph on the Dolphinton stretch of the A702. It has sparked calls for permanent speed cameras in the area. "
this is why we now have camras on all the best roads for bikes
Would be interesting to know how many of the 20 were bikes, I am willing to bet not many, otherwise it would have said motorcyclists not motorists.
Blimey. 166 is a bit stupid - but 9 months?????
Unfortunately for this guy his troubles have only just begun, he's going to need
more than speed to survive the sicko's he'll be sharing a cell with, no prizes for
guessing what I mean, but there's some good news, well for him, he'll be out in
less than 4 months, after serving 50% of his sentence and good behavior.
Now let this be a lesson to all us bikers, speed and you'll get more than a kick up
the arse from the judge
I can't for the life of me imagine what you're alluding to, Rowly.
Did not like the comment that he was seduced by speed,
he was just a numpty,
we all speed at sometime or other but there is a time and a place,
166 mph is stupid speed in a restricted zone,
9 months - way too harsh. But he shouldn't have coughed to dangerous driving as you can't go to jail for speeding.
Maybe you should have represented him Ed
