Yes they do Chris.... it's a personal choice, I really like them like that, the bike feels so much nicer to ride with those posistion bars. :)

Yes mate, relatively easy.... the worst bit was having to remove the fuel tank and airbox to trace the front wiring back to the connectors, the rears where really easy as the wiring sits just behind the light unit under the seat.

All in I think the whole job took me about 2 hours, if I take off the time trying to trace the vacuum pipe i'd left off when putting it all back together!! :x

  12. Think it'll be whole lot easier to fit on a Daytona as the connectors are just the otherside of the fairings or is there a relay that needs fitting too Steve?

Yep there is a relay that goes with them, as far as I know the relay on a tona is under the infill too but I could be completely wrong with that, I'm up at the Marina working on my Dads boat at the mo but have a handy link at home so will post that up when I'm home later....

  15. I'm interested in doing a mod like this but there is one fairly big drawback which is I don't know jack about electrics which some might think weird considering I am it networking engineer by trade sure I can tell you all about spanning tree protocol or enhanced interior gateway routing protocol but when it comes to wiring in a relay I'm lost

It's pretty much "plug & play" Nick.

Although it's round, not rectangular like the original. And it's a 3 terminal one, with a little adaptor plug & earth lead in the pack.

You can also get (Yamaha spec' ones?) that are a more direct replacement, with the straight 2pin connection.

  17. I'll check it out dude do you have any LEDs on yours? I have a very nice set of brand new carbon fibre ones that would go well with your stealth colour if you want them?
