As of about an hour ago I became a Grandad for the 2nd time!! :D - Little boy this time....'course my brainiac son & daughter-in-law haven't decided on a name yet (like they didn't know he was comin' or sommit), so for now he is just "it"???

Anyway, I'm overjoyed, thrilled, blah blah blah, etc. :?

Congratumalations! So, a brother for Tessa! If we had had a boy, he would have been Rupert John. But we had a girl :D Don't come across many girls called Rupert

Cheers guys, - they settled on 'Elijah' which I really like - I always think that the biblical names never go out of fashion.
In the USA the biblical names tend to be more 'Old Testament' oriented, as opposed to the UK where they are usually more 'New Testament'.

...I have a bit of a lisp & speech impediment, though - "Elijah" is gonna be a bit of a challenge, methinks!!!

  11. Congratulations Darren! Just don't go spending too much of your bike bling money on young Elijah!

wish i had thought on that one Ed, very good,
    Elijah thats a good name,
inspires strength and calm even tho the original one was a tough cookie by all acounts,
i used to think Henry was a naff name,
took me years to forgive the parents for calling me that ,
but my girlfriends best friends lad is called Henry and when we all meet up he is little Henry and i am big Henry,
as he is only nine it suits and in my case it feels ok to be called big cos i am only 5' 8'' :rotfl:

I'm a carpet-installer, or 'carpet-fitter' as you would say, Ed - Not glamorous or anything, but something that I really enjoy doing, + it pays the bills (not recently, though) etc.
