    Hi,
    I just recieved a letter informing me I was doing 37 in a 30, so 3 points and £100 fine. :(
I've already got 3 points that are 3 years old.
Will I now have 6 points for a further 4 years, or will I have 6 points for a year and then 3 points for 3 years?
    Bit confused!

    Thanks

6 points for a year, then back to the 3 points.
Had you already renewed your vehicle insurances.? - You may not fare too badly if so.

  3. 6 points for 12-months, but the 3 you already have are still declared for up,to 5 years.

If you’re offered a 'Speed Awareness' course take it. No points, and you don’t need to declare the offence.

    Thanks all.
I just renewed my insurance (2 months ago).
Wonder how much the bike/car insurers will sting me when I tell them!?

I received 3 points a few years back (ironically driving my van to go to a track day).
When I informed my insurance company it made virtually no difference as it was only an SP30.
