What a nightmare. Many years ago I saw a bloke return to collect his bike after a service, ride across a wide pavement to the roadside, nearly drop it and in the process give it a big handfull of throttle, wheelied staight across Wembley High Road and straight through a shop window opposite !!!
Wow! - That would suck!! - I'm a big believer that a parking lot is the absolute worst place to be on a sportbike.
If you listen he hits the throttle and then the bike goes, prbably a combination of brand new rubber and cold tyres, and the time he hits the throttle - he is leaning :/.
An old trick german bikedealers sort their income with  Brand new tires either not run in (heated up once) or sanded on the balancing machine The leathers looked very stiff too :monkey:
looked completely new gear, boots gloves everything , wot a noob make u wonder if hed just passed his test
Call me a girl, but my heart bleeds for the poor Dude I dropped a Duc 750ss on gravel at the Bol D'or years ago...ground swallow me up time
I once tried to ride of in a Supermarket car park without removing the disc lock, car park was full of people.
lol pretty common that i think, mate of mine cracked a disk doing that, took the lock off and dropped it down the nearest grid lol
You would have to be gutted! I remember picking up my current bike from the showroom on a bloody cold december morning, actually its her birthday on 15th December! I'll have to buy a cake! Anyway back on track, yeah rode out the showroom quite sheepishly feeling like a complete t##t in the cold on slippery new tyres. Went around the mini roundabout about 50 yards down the road no faster than 5mph and had the back end trying to step out. And I was being bloody careful, so yes I do feel for this poor bloke!
